2025 CVMC Successes

a.) CVPL Mini-Putt Saturday / Sunday Feb 22nd & 23rd. Tom L and Dave W donated holes and time. Dave won (Robot) hole of the event.

b.) CVMC donates $5,000 to the CVPL for the Summer Kid’s Program.

c.) Donated $600 to the Carlson Ice Arena Cherry Valley Skate.

d.) Special Olympics @ Francheso’s

e.) Masters Cup for St Jude ($250 CVMC signs). Help raise $25K for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

f.) CV Fun Run / Walk – Support Rec Board activity with volunteers, coffee, & donuts.

g.) CV School Garden improvements (getting ready for spring).

h.) D.A.R.E. Bike donations.

i.) CV School Pavilion – CVMC / Lucky Dog support with combined $5,000 donation for $20,000 the project.

j.) CV / CVMC Junior Fishing Tournament I at Baumann park.

k.) Terry Murphy CVMC Scholarships granted: 3 – $1,000 scholarships granted to Mary Clare Cyrus (Boylan), Vydalis Cockrell (Jefferson), and Farrah Zachery (Jefferson).

l.) DBN (Don’t be Next) Foundation: $500 donation

m.) 4th of July CV parade and frisbee toss.

  • Presented Stormy with paver brick in her honor at Village Hall.
  • Purchased high quality bikes for D.A.R.E. program
  • CVL – Present $7110 check to CVL board for Summer Kids Programs. 
  • Completed and hung display / posting box at the CVHS.
  • Terry Murphy CVMC Scholarship $1,000 granted to Yordanos Nagash (Jefferson).
