Cherry Valley Public Library Kid’s Summer Reading Programs: On 04.23.2024 the CVMC presented a check to Sue Stevens and CVPL Board for $7,110 to cover the programs.
CHERRY VALLEY SCHOOL (CVS) – Projects
CVMC along with our friends from the Lucky Dog help with funding various Cherry Valley School initiatives. Above is an example where we funded an indoor hydroponic learning center and an outside agriculture area to teach the kids how to plant and yield from their planting. For the outside area wood, fencing, and seeds were purchased and members of the CVMC dug and constructed the site.
The Cherry Valley Men’s Club supported the CV Police Department with the training of Stormy the Comfort Dog and Officers who work with Stormy (Hopefully you’ve had a chance to meet Stormy around the Village). Recently, we attended a CV Police sponsored D.A.R.E. program where we purchased 5 bicycles for awarding class winners. D.A.R.E is an outstanding program for development of our youth!
